Over the past 19 years I have worked with many hundreds of diverse clients, ranging from 14 to 85 years old, who have entrusted their health and fitness to me. It is my life’s passion to assist other people in reaching their very best physical condition so they can truly enjoy life at any age. My 90-year-old mother always says, “As long as you have good health, everything else is secondary.” These are wise words to live by. In 2005 I first discovered an ancient training modality that I am so excited to teach. I am proud to have achieved the title of RKC, Certified Russian Kettlebell Instructor. Kettlebell training is a dynamic and integrated workout that combines strength, cardio, flexibility and core work. It is virtually a hand held gym and can be used at home, outdoors, or in the gym. It can also be used for people with special needs as well as rehabilitation. |

I was born and raised in southern California where the sun always shines. I spent my early years playing tennis, swimming, boating and horseback riding. As I grew older I discovered my competitive nature and enjoyed participating in organized sports like basketball, flag football, soccer and racquetball. After college I became interested in weight training and I got involved with natural bodybuilding on a competitive level. I found it was a great way to stay active and strong. In the last two years I have become focused on Russian Kettlebell training earning the title of RKC, Certified Russian Kettlebell Instructor. Kettlebell training is an ancient training technique that involves all the components of fitness: cardiovascular, muscular strength, endurance, core strength and stability, and flexibility. I have found that with one or two kettlebells and a small space in my garage, home, or outdoors, I am able to maintain a high level of fitness with just a few hours of training each week. I have had the privilege of sharing these techniques with others through individualized and group instruction. |

I have always had a love of sports and fitness. I also knew that I always wanted a career within the health industry. This is why I originally decided on a degree in nutrition. After I graduated, I realized that I wanted to help people improve all aspects of health, so I went on to further my education in fitness. To do this I obtained a nationally accredited, personal training certification through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine). I have followed this up with some advanced certifications in Corrective Exercise and Performance Enhancement. I have been training clients for the past 5 years, adding experience to my education. I am married and have a 3 year old and a newborn. So I know what it is like to try and juggle work, spending time with family and exercising. It is not easy and that is why I want to help people achieve their goals. To do this I teach people how to exercise efficiently and eat correctly. The byproduct of this is getting the best results in the shortest amount of time. |
